Queen of the Valley Foundation
Following in the footsteps of the Foundation’s founding members, who established it in 1969, today’s Board of Trustees partners with the community to advance technology and services. Since its inception, the Foundation has successfully provided the Queen over $110 million to fund life-saving equipment and cutting-edge programs.
Today, Queen of the Valley Foundation is working to acquire a Signa Architect 3T MRI. This advanced technology is not currently available in Napa County but will benefit those needing a high-resolution MRI to detect and treat a multitude of diseases. The MRI will be used for many service lines including neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and cancer.
This MRI includes fast scan techniques, advanced pulse sequences and improved productivity/workflow while providing a comfortable patient experience in a wide bore environment with an express dockable table. The new system can achieve a 33% reduction in the time required to perform the same scan as the older generation MRI systems with several newer techniques that further reduce scan time.
If you would like your gift to be designated to the 3T MRI, please select it in the drop-down menu. And if you’d prefer to select another area to designate your gift, we have included a list for your choosing. Thank you.
