Caregiver Giving—Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Caregiver Campaign?
The Caregiver Campaign is an annual fundraising campaign giving caregivers the opportunity to join our philanthropic Mission by making a charitable gift to Providence.
You can make a gift in support of programs that are meaningful to you. All caregivers are invited to set up a recurring payroll deduction (minimum of $5 per pay period) or make a one-time donation online.
Every dollar counts and every gift matters.
Why philanthropy?
As a nonprofit health system, Providence relies on philanthropic gifts to provide programs and services that otherwise would not be accessible.
Each Providence hospital and medical center has a foundation of dedicated caregivers who work year-round with grateful patients and families, businesses, and the community, who give in gratitude for their care and to ensure the best care, latest technology, and resources are available to all.
Where does my money go?
All charitable gifts made to Providence go through your Providence Foundation(s) directly to support the funds that you choose. If you don’t see the fund listed, simply enter the name of the program you would like to support in the comments section.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, all gifts made to any Providence Foundation are tax deductible to the extent provided by the law.
